Who we are

Over the past 24 years, Ron & Debbie Hill have been the Lead Pastor's of Lighthouse Family Church and have dedicated their lives to helping people. They are both passionate about serving the local community by bringing hope, support & encouragement to people from all walks of life.

How we got started

Lighthouse Family Church was pioneered in South East Queensland by Alister & Lois Lowe in 1986. Both Alister & Lois were radically saved at a Billy Graham crusade in New Zealand during the JESUS REVOLUTION in the 1950's. With a passion for the lost they dedicated their lives to bringing HOPE to people. They pioneered churches & schools in New Zealand before moving to Australia to assist a large church in Queensland.


In 1997 the church was succeeded by Ron & Debbie Hill (Alister & Lois' daughter & son in-law). The church was started to be a place that brings transformation to the lives of people who were lost, broken & hurting through the power and love of JESUS CHRIST.


Today Lighthouse Family Church is a thriving community of people who are passionate about pointing people to JESUS and helping people who need it the most thorough outreaches like Lighthouse Care.

At Lighthouse we get to connect with the heart of JESUS, live with a deep sense of community, while doing life together & supporting each other on this wonderful adventure.
